July 27, 2012: Candidates who have obtained an allotment through Centralized Allotment Process-2012, and who wish to cancel that allotment, before the 3rd phase of allotment, can do so between 27.07.2012 and 31.07.2012. Candidates have to submit their request for cancellation, online, through the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in during this period.
They should first enter their home page by clicking the link ‘KEAM-2012 Allotment Cancellation’, available at the site and then provide the reason for cancellation.
After submitting the cancellation request online, the candidate should take a print out of the request. This has to be signed by the candidate and the parent, attested by a Gazetted Officer and sent either by registered post or by hand delivery to reach the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Housing Board Buildings, 5th Floor, Santhinagar, Thiruvananthapuram-695 001, before 5 pm on 31.07.2012.
Cancellation of allotment will be considered only if the print out of the cancellation request is received in the office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations within the prescribed time limit. Requests for cancellation sent by fax or e-mail will not be considered.
Those who cancel their allotment will lose their current allotment and also all their higher options in all streams. This means that they will be out of the allotment process. Requests for reconsidering the cancelled allotment or restoring of the higher options will not be considered on any account.
